recipes shown on this part of the site are taken from Elaine's
book, "Breaking the vicious cycle" We thank her

what we call 'legal' foodstuffs.

Here's
one to get you in the party mood.... Cheese
Bread
The
bread can be sliced and used for French toast, just dip in beaten eggs
and fry in real butter. Tops. You'll need:

2
1/2 cups ground blanched almonds
1/4 cup softened butter
1 cup of mature cheddar, cut into small pieces

1
teaspoon of baking soda
1/8 teaspoon of salt
3 beaten eggs
|
Heat
the oven to 350° F. (180° C)
Mix the butter, nut flour and cheese
Add the eggs, baking soda and salt
Pour into a well buttered loaf pan and bake until golden brown on top.
So easy!
Quick Dessert
Layer of mashed banana, layer of yoghurt topped with crumbled walnut and cinnamon muffin (its delish). Submitted by Brenda.
Veg Stir Fry
2 tbsp. oil, 1 dessp. honey, quarter tsp. turmeric (change according to amount of veg).
Heat in saucepan, add any combination of chopped/sliced veg - I use - carrot, onion, mushrooms, peppers (red, yellow, green), broccoli, spinach, stir until cooked - can add any cooked meat to this or prawns (if using raw meat need to stir fry this first).
